I am Iranian-American living in San Francisco with my family. ?I am very interested in humanities and cultural studies both as an educator and a cultural enthusiast. ?My specialty is about the culture of ancient Iran (Persia) and finding the ancient cultural values and tracing them in modern times. I have also studied and taught about the cultures of China both past and modern times. I am equally interested in learning about other cultures in Asia.

I believe in today’s global environment, we should act as cultural ambassadors to preserve and promote the cultural distinctions. This will enable us to have a better understanding and respect for each culture while building the diverse communities of today and tomorrow.
